Passion and Reason

“Our passions are the winds that propel our vessel. Our reason is the pilot that steers her. Without winds the vessel would not move and without a pilot she would be lost."

How fast is your ship sailing? Does it have the full gale force of passion behind it or is it just meandering slowly across the water? Does the passion come and go like a gust or is it steady, moving you in the direction that you want to go?

Is your vessel lost? Is it without a pilot to steer her? Does the pilot know clearly where it is headed or is the place just 'somewhere over there?' Does the pilot have the knowledge to know what to do when the gale force winds of passion drive the ship?

As you think about your ship and the destination that you are headed to, what do you see? Are there storm clouds ahead or will it be smooth sailing? Maybe it will be a little of both, but are you ready for anything?

“Our passions are the winds that propel our vessel. Our reason is the pilot that steers her. Without winds the vessel would not move and without a pilot she would be lost."
