Do Not Squander Time

"Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff that life is made of." ~Benjamin Franklin.

Do you love life? Do you squander time? Why? We all do it. We get so busy doing inconsequential things that the important things get pushed aside. In our over communicated, over saturated, overstimulated, over busy society, our attention is taken away from what is important and we chase after the latest, shiniest new thing that comes our way. SQUIRREL!!!! We squander our most valuable asset, our time.

Zig Ziglar says that "Lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem. We all have twenty-four-hour days." Not having enough time is a priority issue, not a time issue. We have plenty of time to do the things we want to do, just not enough time to do the things that we may have to do, but don't want to do.

The next time that you are asked to do something that you don't want to do, be honest and say "I'm sorry, but that isn't of enough value to me to do at this time" instead of just saying, "I don't have time." If it is of enough value to you, you will find a way of making the time so that you can do it.

Start giving your time the value it deserves, investing it and not squandering it and you will become even more valuable to others and yourself.

Know. Be Known. Make A Difference!

"Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff that life is made of."
