Are You Limiting Yourself?

"Don't limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve." ~Mary Kay Ash

Are you limiting yourself? I bet you are and you might not even know it. Why do we limit ourselves? Fear. We are afraid of becoming all we can become, so we limit our thoughts to only that which we think is safe and won't cause waves. You've heard this before but "what would you do if you knew that you couldn't fail?" Would you limit yourself then? Don't play small. It doesn't serve you or the world.

It's a good thing that redwood trees don't have the human brain! If they did, they would only be bushes and not gigantic, majestic trees. Think about nature. Does it limit itself or does it grow to be all it can be. It becomes all it can become, sometimes growing through concrete, through rocks and around stuff.

Why don't we do that? Why don't we become all we can become? Because we have a brain that is not our friend. Our brain is designed for protection and safety and we have been conditioned to live from the outside in rather than from the inside out.

You can go as far as your mind will let you go, but when you get there, go further! Go beyond what your mind is telling you. Henry Ford said that "whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right." What you believe you can achieve.

Know. Be Known. Make A Difference!

"Don't limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve."
