Forgotten Past Equals Brightest Future

Here's the thing. You have learned from those failures and heartaches. Take the lessons and leave the rest. Leave the pain. Leave the blaming. Leave everything but the lesson you learned.

The reason that you haven't let them go yet is that you are getting some benefit out of holding on to them. Is it sympathy? Does the wallowing in your past make you feel better? What benefit are you getting out of it?  You need to realize that greater benefits are waiting for you the minute you leave those failures and heartaches behind.
