Are Your Expectations WILD?

"Nobody succeeds beyond his or her wildest expectations unless he or she begins with some wild expectations."~Ralph Charell

Are your goals beyond your wildest expectations? Why not? Really, why not? Most people make their goals something that they think they can achieve, not something that would be beyond their wildest dreams. See, we have been taught that we shouldn't have wild dreams because we will be disappointed when we don't reach them...What a crock!

It all does come back to your expectations. Are your expectations really big or are they just big enough to make you work a little harder to get, but not your wildest dreams??? Start trying to reach beyond what you think you can do...You'll be amazed as you start doing some great things.

St. Francis of Assisi said it this way "Start by doing what is necessary, then do what is possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible." Here's a real easy way to do the impossible. Go out and do it.

Impossible, The Easy Out

“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
~ Muhammad Ali

How often do you use the word "Impossible?" Too often?  It's an easy out, isn't it?  Someone asks you to do something or they say that they are going to do something and you say/think, impossible.  Impossible is nothing more than an excuse to try, to work on it, to figure it out!

Do you find it easier to live in the world you've been given than explore the power you have to change it?  It is what it is, right?  "I can't change the world" you think to yourself.  Well guess what, you don't have to change the world, you just have to start with changing yourself.  When you change yourself, you change the world!

Too often people hear the word impossible and think it's a fact or a declaration.  IT IS NOT!  It's just someone's opinion and while it may be impossible for them, it doesn't have to be for you!

Take impossible as a dare, as your potential, as temporary, as nothing.  In fact, the word itself say's I M POSSIBLE!

Stop Limiting Your Choices

"If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is a compromise."~Robert Fritz

Do you limit your choices to what seems possible or reasonable? Really?? When I ask people what their BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is, they usually answer with something seems possible (20% increase in business) or reasonable. That is not a BHAG! That is a compromise and most people will compromise on what they want.

Why do we do that? Our mind defaults to the negative and so it's difficult for us to create things that seem unreasonable. But reasonable men have never changed the world, only those who were unreasonable made the impossible, possible.  Think about that word, impossible.  You can read that I'm possible, or I M possible.  How does that change your view?

Jeffrey Gitomer said "Obstacles can't stop you. Problems can't stop you. Most of all, other people can't stop you. Only you can stop you." This is so true. You are the only thing that is stopping you. It's not the economy, not your spouse or friends, not anything but you...think about that.

It's About Belief!

“When you believe something is impossible, your mind goes to work for you to prove why. But when you believe, really believe, something can be done, your mind goes to work for you and helps you find the ways to do it.” ~David J. Schwartz

Our brain is the greatest computer ever designed. It is a million times more powerful that the most powerful computer and when you believe something, you mind will bring the things to you that validate your thinking. Henry Ford said "Whether you think you can or think you can't you're right." If you believe something is impossible, then guess what...IT IS impossible...FOR YOU. But it is not impossible for someone who believes is it possible.

Here's another view on possible and impossible “If it is possible, it is done; if impossible, it shall be done.”~Charles Alexandre de Calonne Wow, is that powerful? If it is impossible, IT SHALL BE DONE. Do you think this way? Can you think this way? Break out of your self-imposed mediocrity and attempt the impossible.

And don't let the realists stop you, you know who they are, the ones who are always saying, "Oh, be realistic." See, a realist is really a pessimist in disguise. Go for it. Attempt the impossible and when they come to ask you how you did it, just say "It's a secret...but it has something to do with belief..."

Living Towards Your Dream?

The only place where your dream becomes impossible is in your own thinking.~ Robert H. Schuller

Are you living towards your dream? NO, you're not? Why? Has your dream become "impossible?" Maybe it's just too hard? That's just a story that you are telling yourself. Remember, your brain is not your friend!! It wants to keep you safe, it will challenge your dream, sabotage your dream, but it is the only thing that is keeping you from achieving your dream...Your thinking.

Hello?? Anybody home??? Did you hear me? The only place where your dream becomes impossible is in YOUR OWN thinking! It is your choice how you think. You get to decide! No one else has any say in the matter (unless you give them power over you). What is holding you back? What are you waiting for? Wouldn't your life be so much better living your dream than what you are doing now???

"Most people have no idea of the giant capacity we can immediately command when we focus all of our resources on mastering a single area of our lives."~ Anthony Robbins

Master YOUR dreams! Go after them. Don't let whatever has stopped you up until now to keep you from creating your dream life. Stretch your capacity and focus all your resources on achieving your dream! Do it NOW!
