The Joy of Overcoming Limitations

"The marvelous richness of human experience would lose something of rewarding joy if there were no limitations to overcome."~Helen Keller

What is limiting you now? Why are you letting it limit you? Most of our limitations come from our own mind. Is that what is limiting you today? Why?  Think about the things that Helen Keller had to overcome and notice that I didn't say limitations.  I'm not sure she ever thought that she had any!

Samuel Johnson said "Adversity has ever been considered the state in which a man most easily becomes acquainted with himself." Are you becoming acquainted with yourself? Who are you becoming?

Our lives are based on overcoming our limitations and dealing with adversity. How are you doing? Really? It's important to realize that we are never face with a problem that we can't deal with or overcome...unless we choose to not deal with it or not overcome it. Dig deep, find that limitation and adversity overcoming button within you.  Remember, you are never given a challenge without the tools to deal with that challenge.  It's your choice, no one elses.

Find your overcoming button within you, if you already haven't. When was the last time you needed to use it...you might be needing it now.

The Time Will Never Be "Just Right"

"Do not wait; the time will never be 'just right.' Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along." ~Napoleon Hill

Are you waiting? If you are, what are you waiting for? Why? "For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life! But there was always some obstacle, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business." Are you dealing with the obstacles and not allowing life to begin? It's real easy for us to do and we get caught up in dealing with things that before you know it, another year has passed.

Start now with whatever you have. Stop waiting for whatever you think you need and just do it. NOW! As Goethe said there is boldness in beginning!

Be bold and begin attending workshops and seminars.  Other people know things you don't and if you are open to learning (which most people say they are, but really aren't) you can learn from anyone.  Even me!
You can also join us
Thursday December 18th at the workshop "Goal Getting & Goal Setting; Create Your Success Plan For 2015."  You will learn how to Create Your Success and stop your limitations.

Do Not Wait!

The week between Christmas and New Years can be the most productive week of the year!  Why?  Because fewer people are working...which means less email, phone calls and interuptions.  Also because the people that are working are usually coasting...nuff said there.  This can be a week of "Reflecting Back and Planning Forward."  Look at what you did well in 2012 and look at what you didn't do well in 2012.  (If you are interested, I can send you a worksheet to do this.)

So, how will you use the most productive week of the year??

What Are You Waiting For?

"Do not wait, the time will never be 'just right.' Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along."~Napoleon Hill

"Are you waiting for things to get better before taking action? The fact is that things will not get better until you go ahead and get yourself moving forward. The best time to start is always now. For no matter what the outside circumstances may be, the most effective strategy is to get your inner strength revved up and rolling right away.

As a recovering perfectionist, I was always waiting for things to be perfect.

My excuses for delaying were very reasonable and impressive, but those excuses didn't move me forward. Circumstances improved when I made the effort to improve them.
Even the smallest effort was much better than doing nothing. And small efforts that bring results motivated me to take bigger, more effective steps.

You know from your experiences that you can do what you set your mind to do. START NOW! STOP WAITING. THE TIME WILL NEVER BE JUST RIGHT!
