Impossible, The Easy Out

“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
~ Muhammad Ali

How often do you use the word "Impossible?" Too often?  It's an easy out, isn't it?  Someone asks you to do something or they say that they are going to do something and you say/think, impossible.  Impossible is nothing more than an excuse to try, to work on it, to figure it out!

Do you find it easier to live in the world you've been given than explore the power you have to change it?  It is what it is, right?  "I can't change the world" you think to yourself.  Well guess what, you don't have to change the world, you just have to start with changing yourself.  When you change yourself, you change the world!

Too often people hear the word impossible and think it's a fact or a declaration.  IT IS NOT!  It's just someone's opinion and while it may be impossible for them, it doesn't have to be for you!

Take impossible as a dare, as your potential, as temporary, as nothing.  In fact, the word itself say's I M POSSIBLE!

Know. Be Known. Make A Difference!

How Did This Happen?

“People talk about the reality of their life as if it is important. And we want you to understand, it’s only the temporary indicator. Do you go to the gas station-your gas gauge is on empty-do you go to the gas station and look at your gas gauge in horror? “How did this happen? [Fun] Why, why, why did this happen to me?” Do you lay your head on the steering wheel and just sob? “Oh, look what it’s come to. [Fun] I’m finished. I’ve lived all of this life, and look where I am.” Or do you just fill up.”~ Esther & Jerry Hicks

The reality of your life is only temporary. Do you understand that? Really? Some people just don't get that at any time they can change and become what they want to be. They can change where they are at, what they are doing and who they are doing it with...You have the power to change, RIGHT NOW!

The Hicks's point this out in a funny way. What do you do when your gas tank is running low??? You go to the gas station. Well, when you are running low, where do you go? Do you have "mates" that you can talk to? Do you go to God or a higher power? Or do you go to the local bar and "drown your sorrows" there? We all go somewhere...so where do you go?

You need to surround yourself with people who care about you. Who have your best interests at heart and are willing to go to bat for you and help you when you need it. That's what friendship is all about. That's what community is all about.

Who are you that person for? Anyone? If not, start thinking who you can help, who you can be that person for. We have become so technological that we have forgotten the human aspect of our lives...
