Labor Day 2012
"Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country." This is what the Department of Labor says about Labor Day.
I'm really surprised to read that from this administration. Shouldn't it read "dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers, made possible by the US Government?"
We used to champion success, not trash it. We used to admire successful people, not denigrate them. We used to aspire to be successful, not just live with a sense of entitlement about our success, and when it gets too hard just quit. Growing up, I always had the thoughts that I could do whatever I wanted. I didn't want the government to "help."
I usually don't get into politics here, but whatever your point of view is, this election will determine the course of the future of these United States. Don't sit it out. Get more information about what's happening than just the main stream media. Learn about how our government and China are working together to devalue the dollar (and how that will negatively impact you). Learn why the administration won't allow drilling off our shores, but gives 2 Billion dollars to Bolivia so they can drill. Learn how Iran, working with Russia is planning the destruction of Israel.
The first words of the Constitution says "WE THE PEOPLE,' Not we the sheeple! It's time to wake up!!
Know. Be Known. Make A Difference!
