Think Over and Over

"As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives."~Henry David Thoreau

What kind of deep mental paths are you creating? Are you allowing them to dominate your life? Research has found that we have about 60 thousand thoughts per day...and 85% of those thoughts are NEGATIVE! They also found that out of those 60k thoughts, 80% were the same thoughts that you had yesterday!

Are you thinking the same things over and over and expecting a different result?  Guess what?  Ain't gonna work!!  You need to start training your mind to think new and better thoughts.  You can do it, it just takes some time and practice.  That's the real challenge though...Time and Practice.  In our microwave society, we want everything NOW!  You can't create a deep mental path just doing it once.

Peace Pilgrim said "If you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought." Wow, NEVER think another negative thought! It's interesting that to develop your mind with positive thoughts it takes work and work, while our brain goes to the negative so much easier. Think about the last time you had a "What if" thought. Was it positive or negative? Most people's "what ifs' are always negative. What if you could make them positive?

Action:
Challenge yourself to think NEW and BETTER  thoughts every day. Don't get caught in the never-ending loop of old, negative thoughts. Make your "what ifs" positive. It really can be that easy.  It's your choice!

Know. Be Known. Make A Difference!
